Designed in collaboration with a leading ‘Coast Guard’ agency, the Zeni Lite Multi-Purpose Tracking Buoy RB-01G5-B1 can be deployed form an airplane or patrol boat. When deployed from air, the buoy is fitted with a parachute to stabilize and slow descent. The buoy is equipped with a float device, automatically activated on impact with the sea surface, which also releases the buoy’s antenna.

GPS position data then is sent by e-mail through the Iridium communication network. It is an ideal tool for monitoring current, or for tracking surface phenomena.

The Multi Purpose Tracking Buoy is relatively light weight & easy to deploy. It is designed for airplane deployment providing a reliable mechanism in controlling descent & within minutes of deployment transmits specified data.
